The author: Diogo has participated and organized artistic, cultural, training and youth exchange events since 1998, in association with A.R.C.A. In 2000 he founded "@rte Digital", an international team of independent new media and audiovisual artists who work in partnership with non-governmental organizations that promote art, culture, intercultural dialog and human rights at a global level. He has developed interactive promotional and advertising contents for partners such as Fundação Mário Soares, Fundação Oriente, North-South Centre, Comissão para a Cidadania e a Igualdade de Género (CIG), Spanish Youth Council (CJE), Portuguese Youth Council (CNJ), the Council of Europe (COE), Asia-Europe Foundation, the Portuguese music band Terrakota and the Publicity Agency Tux & Gill. In addition to this Diogo has been a member of the Border Crossing Media collective since 2006, fulfilling the roles of art director and new media expert whilst continuing to work as a freelancer creating advertising and promotional shortfilms. As a trainer in the audiovisual and new media sector, he has collaborated with schools such as Espai Virreina, Forino, Flag and Galileu. Currently he teaches interactive filmmaking and DVD authoring at ETIC (escola técnica de imagem e comunicação), new media and digital video editing at RUMOS , Creative Staion ,lxschool, EPAD (Escola Profissional de Artes, Tecnologias e Desporto). In 2009 he designed a training course on Interactive Filmmaking for Algarve Film Commission and is now colaborated with HFF “Konrad Wolf” (The Film & Television Academy in Postam - Germany) as an invited expert in the "Anything is a Storytelling Device" project (a international training course in interactive filmmaking and cross-media). website: http://diogo-andrade.blogspot.com |
